What is Solution Focused Hypnotherapy?

It’s a fast acting listening and talking therapy that can help make positive changes by focusing on solutions rather than problems. This approach emphasizes what you want to achieve rather than dwelling on issues or challenges in the past enabling you to move forward. It is based on the latest findings in neuroscience. Solution Focused Hypnotherapists do not refer or ask you to go over your past.

What is Hypnosis?

Hypnosis is a natural state of complete relaxation that allows your subconscious mind to focus on your positive thoughts enabling you to move forward in life.

What will happen at the Initial Consultation?

A chance to talk about what you want to achieve from hypnotherapy.

We can also talk about why you are feeling as you do, and what we can do to help by understanding how your brain works and how we can use this to embrace positive change in your feelings and behaviour. This is not a commitment to subsequent sessions, just a chance to see if this is something you would like to do.

What happens after the Initial Consultation?

We can start the subsequent sessions.

They are around 50 minutes long where we firstly engage in positive discussion/ talking therapy to support you to move forward.

Then we will use Hypnosis/ A natural state of relaxation to consolidate your positive thoughts and actions to find solutions and absorb positive suggestion.

Face to Face or Online?

We can do the sessions online or face to face, whichever is preferable to you. Both are as equally effective.
